Gisselle Martinez
Co-Founder & Legal Director
Attorney Gisselle Martinez is the Legal Director and Co-founder of Orlando Center for Justice, Inc. (OCJ) She received her law degree from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law and her B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Florida.
Hailing from Colombia, Gisselle is an immigrant herself and has been passionate about immigrant rights from an early age. Since 2013, Gisselle has been representing the most vulnerable immigrant clients in front of various immigration agencies and courts. Today, Gisselle supervises the growing legal team at OCJ as well as supports the Executive Director in fundraising efforts and events.
Gisselle currently serves as a Board Member and Chair of the New Member Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Central Florida Chapter.
Gisselle is often asked to speak at conferences and community events on immigration law and immigrant rights.
In her spare time, Gisselle, enjoys traveling with her husband, David and spending time with her two dogs, Roxy and Luna.
